Weekly Club notes 23rd September

U6 Boys: 
Our U6’s traveled to Croom for an entertaining day off football. Well done to all and thanks to Croom for hosting our young stars. Team photo is on our facebook page.

U10 Boys: 
Kildimo was the venue as our U10 boys faced Kildimo United last Friday. A good game of football from near neighbors. Competitive football is on the horizon for many of these players.

U16:
Our U16’s were in action once more on Sunday, a difficult trip to Feenagh saw the home side come away with a 1-0 victory.

Junior:
St Ita’s 2-2 Breska Rovers
St Ita’s win 5-4 on penalties

Our junior team exited the Munster Junior Cup at the first hurdle against fellow Division One outfit St Ita’s. Niall Quane and Diarmuid O’Connor were on target.

Despite doing so much right in the shootout, things didn’t go our way and St. Ita’s advance to face Premier Division opposition.

Rathkeale 7-0 Breska Rovers B

Our B team were also in Munster Junior Cup action as they faced a daunting trip to Premier Division Champions, Rathkeale. Despite defending well in the opening 25 minutes Rathkeale got on top and found the target. They emerged comfortable winners, but it was a positive day in many aspects for our young team.6 of the starting XI played youths last year and can take alot from the game.

Ladies:
Our Ladies faced Charleville and were on the wrong end of a 4-0 scoreline against a strong Charleville side.
