Hard luck to our u12A team who suffered defeat at the hands to physical Askeaton side in Tervoe this evening in our 2nd game this week. The team showed great fight after a 15 minutes whereby we conceded 3 goals to the visitors, Although a quick James Smith brace brought it to a one goal game, However we could not make the pressure tell and Askeaton found another 3 goals in the remaining 10 minutes of the first half, 2-6 at half time and heads were down. The team had a good chat at the break and came out fighting in the 2nd half with Shane Byrne netting his 2nd goal in as many games off his right foot, James Smith completed his hattrick but it was Askeaton who added a further 3 goals in the 2nd half who came out on top in the end, Our lads can take positives from the 2nd half performance in particular. We go again.
