Breska Rovers AFC – Coaching Philosophy
Our coaching philosophy is outlined below and should be followed by all coaching staff in the club.
The club is affiliated with the FAI, meaning we follow the Player Development Plan (PDP) in training & matches for our schoolboy/girl teams. Coaches should adhere to this PDP plan at all times. The PDP plan states that the player is central to our coaching methods. The player’s needs are vital and should be central to everything the coach does.
Our coaches should do their best to help players develop character, skills and life lessons at all times on the pitch. Coaches should encourage and never discourage. Promote team spirit & fair play among all players. The coach
